The Be Involved Campaign is an outgrowth of the Collaboration’s Dialogues Project. This is a multi-year exploration by the early childhood community of two critical questions:
-What are the characteristics of successful young learners? -How do we create environments which foster these characteristics? It is grounded in 40 years of research which has established that up to 85% of brain development occurs between birth and age 5. Children who have had the benefit of exposure to the practices identified in Be Involved are much more likely to succeed in school and their adult lives than children who have not.
