The Dialogues Planning Committee
Through the Dialogues Project. the Dialogues Planning Committee has created a forum for staff of early childhood centers and preschools, home care providers and kindergarten teachers to share expectations and improve communication with the goals of creating shared vision and practices to help prepare young children for success in kindergarten. The Committee meets regularly to evaluate the Dialogues Project’s work and to plan its ongoing programs and activities.
The Education Committee
The mission of the Education Committee is to educate families, providers, and stakeholders in the community about the long-term benefits of a quality early childhood experience. This is accomplished by:
o
providing information about quality in childcare settings
o
highlighting the importance of early literacy experiences
o
reaching out to key Trusted Sources in the community, and,
o
facilitating wide training for families and early childhood care givers.
The Research Committee
The Research Committee seeks to provide documentation on the impact of high quality early childhood care and education and to provide information about the types of early childhood care utilized by members of the community. This information is designed to support service and project development.
